"None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free."

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

NOTE: This material was prepared BEFORE the events that occurred at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on the 11th of September, 2001. Those events cannot help but accelerate the processes described below. Under cover of "protecting the country against terrorism," we are about to witness the most powerful and sustained attack against civil liberties that any modern, civilized people has ever before suffered through; an attack so vast and enormous that even the so-called "Red Scares" of 1919 and 1947-1954 will pale in comparison - and an assault fiendishly designed to curtail the witness of true Christians everywhere while all the time pretending to be on the side of Christianity.

Brothers and sisters, the fact is we are at the "end of days" - the "doorway into eternity" - and the groundwork necessary for the appearance of the "Man of Sin" is now being laid. As Christians, we have a choice: Will we - by participating in this "war against terrorism" (so-called) and the concomitant war against our "civil liberties" - be found on the side of the anti-Christ system that is now developing in our country (again, under cover of "returning the nation to Christ and the church") or will we speak out against it, and most particularly the effort to label all this "Christian." I hope and pray that you will choose to speak out against what's happening, especially in your churches and insofar as your fellow-believers are concerned.

You need to know, however, that by choosing to speak out against what's happening today, you will be OSTRACIZED from the church (so-called), and so much so that in you will be fulfilled Christ's warning to His disciples:

"They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service." (John 16:2)

As a result, those who choose to "stand against it all" [as Antipas did so many thousands of years ago in Pergamos (Rev. 2:13)], will be forced to go "outside the camp" to be with Christ, as the Scriptures say:

"For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

"Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

"LET US GO FORTH THEREFORE UNTO HIM OUTSIDE THE CAMP (i.e., outside of "religion," so-called), BEARING HIS REPROACH.

"FOR HERE WE HAVE NO CONTINUING CITY, BUT WE SEEK ONE TO COME. (Heb. 13:11-13)

William Blum, an investigative journalist in Washington, DC, writes in his excellent book, Rogue State: A Guide to the World's Only Superpower:

"Overtly and covertly, legally and illegally, the military-industrial complex (in the United States) has joined forces with the prison-industrial complex, linked further to the omnipresent national security-police complex, all clasping hands tightly with the War on Drugs, in a declaration of War on the American people and the Bill of Rights. This Authority juggernaut - enamored with its own perpetuation, glorification and enrichment - has convinced the American public that without its storm troopers all hell would break loose and the safety and security of the citizenry would be on a life-support machine. In this undertaking, it has had the indispensable assistance of intimidated legislatures, an uniconoclastic judiciary, compliant media, and a president ... who - in the words of civil-liberties columnist Nat Hentoff - 'in this century ... has afflicted the most harm on our constitutional rights and liberties."

Blum then presents a list of civil rights abuses that he culled from public sources (i.e., newspapers, journals, etc.) that occur regularly on a day-to-day basis in the United States which - when taken together - show with unmistakable clarity how far "civil rights" in the United States have been eroded and how dangerously close we are today to being a police-state. AND THIS IS THE COUNTRY THAT EVANGELICAL LEADERS LIKE TIM LAHAYE, JERRY FALWELL, D. JAMES KENNEDY, JAMES ROBISON, ETC. CALL THE "NEW ISRAEL OF GOD?" THIS IS THE COUNTRY ABOUT WHICH PAT ROBERTSON SAYS:

"If America is free, people everywhere can hope for freedom. And if America goes down, all hope is lost to the rest of the world" ?

One wonders if all these so-called "men of God" have been lingering too long around the "second-hand smoke" of the "pot-heads" they've taken such delight in condemning over the years. The truth is there if they want to see it; indeed, one would have to be blind to miss it, so that in these men - ALL OF THEM -

"... is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive ..." (Matt. 13:14)

Nonetheless, you still say that we live in a "free society" - that these things don't frighten you. Well, if that's the case, then why don't you join us the next time we demonstrate against these injustices (the kind that Blum lists below) as we did in Philadelphia where we went to protest the involvement of the church with the Republican Party - again, not so much because of the injustices themselves (that's just the way the world is) but because of the church's involvement with the elites that are championing these kinds of indignities and civil rights abuses.

What we are simply protesting is the church's involvement in all this. That's fair! That's Scriptural!

We are not protesting so much the activities of the state, as we are protesting the activities of the church and the church's leadership! That is the responsibility of ALL Christians everywhere!

Of course, you need to know that the police and the FBI will probably not make such a distinction. But then, if we have nothing to fear from the state, if we truly live in a "free society," then what do you have to fear?

If you hesitate, then what you are saying, whether you want to admit it or not, is that you believe there is much to be worried about insofar as our "freedoms" in this country are concerned; that we really do live in a "police-state" - and you don't want to be blacklisted and run the risk of losing your job; that what happened to that school teacher in Georgia (detailed below) could happen to you.

As for Antipas, we will be going, whether we are blacklisted or not, because we fear God more than we fear man. The Bible says:

"Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:

"If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;

"Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

"He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.

"But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; BUT HIS BLOOD WILL I REQUIRE AT THE WATCHMAN'S HAND.

God help us - and God help YOU - if we don't speak out!

We will be sure to let you know where and when we will be going to our next demonstration. We hope and pray that we will see you there. The Bible says:

"Whosoever therefore shall be ASHAMED of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ASHAMED, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels." (Mark 8:38)

The list that follows is a composite list derived partially from Blum's list and assorted others. The thing to remember here is that all of the instances listed below occur today on a REGULAR basis. They are not aberrations or anomalies. The sad thing in all of this, is that there is little doubt that most Christians will not be upset by this "catalogue" of civil rights abuses. And why is that? - because most of those who are the "targets" of these abuses and indignities (i.e., the poor, the minorities, the so-called "welfare cheats," the single moms, etc.) have been so DEMONIZED by the "mainline press" that they now seem somehow or other to be deserving of it all. But, then, this is what the Germans did to the Jews in the 1920s and 1930s - demonized them to the point where most Germans came "naturally" and "easily" to the belief that the Jews were "getting what they deserved." [If you possess additinal examples, please send them to us and we will add them to the list] The list is as follows:
